18th-century French armoire w/ floral inlay 59" x 46" x 21¼"

This rare, small scale armoire dates from the early nineteenth century (quite possibly the eighteenth century). It is from the Cevennes region in south-central France and made from weighty walnut. Note the three pretty inlaid flowers across the top panel, and wonderfully rustic top. There are shelves and a drawer inside. Perfect for linens, crockery, cutlery (in the drawer) and other storage. This exquisite piece will be the focal point of any room.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
