18th century Regency period marble console table 27¼"

A superb small marble console table from the eighteenth-century. Beautifully carved from oak with the original marble top. Note that the marble is larger than the table - this was made to allow for air to circulate behind the table so that humidity from the wall didn't cause damage. The marble is French with a lovely array of color.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
